VACCINATIONS!
If your dog is coming in for boarding or day camp, please ensure their vaccinations are up-to-date. We have a 5-7 day window from when you have them done before your dog can socialize here at the Ranch.
You can find what we require under the "Rates/Services" or "Reserve/Application" sections.
We appreciate your diligence on making sure they are valid.
Thank you. read more

Tours and Interviews
TOURS:
We encourage you and your dog to have a tour of the Dog Ranch so you feel at ease with our facility and approach. We also want to make sure your dog is comfortable here; this also gives us time to assess if they’re a good candidate for the Dog Ranch (see “Interviews” below).
We offer tours by appointment only:
Wednesday mornings, 10am - 11am
or
Saturday mornings, 9am - 11am
If you need to arrange another time outside of these hours, please call or email us to discuss.
- Please bring appropriate rural footwear and clothes.
- When you arrive at the office “The Pup Shack”, please identify that you are here by using the radio on the front of the office building. Instructions are provided.
- Please leash your dog at all times outside the Dog Ranch fencing.
INTERVIEWS:
If your dog has a tendency to be very barky or howls by nature, to be un-cooperative, displays anti-social, disruptive or aggressive behavior, we need to meet them before they can be accepted to stay at the Dog Ranch.
If your dog is very submissive or suffers separation anxiety if left alone, we need to have them stay for at least one night before a long-term reservation is accepted.
If your dog is a Husky, Pit Bull, Akita, Rottweiler, Boxer or any other potentially aggressive breed, they must pre-interviewed.
If we feel any dog is not the best candidate for the Dog Ranch we reserve the right to refuse admittance.
