Positions Open:

Professional Groomer: We’re hiring a professional groomer to service the hundreds of Bowen Island pups, and the Dog Ranch boarding dogs from Vancouver. Our grooming service is very needed as there is no other groomer on Bowen.

Temporary accommodation (for free), a few nights on Bowen is a possibility, if you don’t want to commute or move to Bowen. We offer full-time accommodation for the right person for a low subsidized rent. The Translink bus from the ferry terminal will drop you right at the Dog Ranch property if you don’t have a car.

Our peaceful grooming facility is separate from the boarding facility but you are still a part of (and supported by), the awesome Dog Ranch team.

60% – 70% commission to start, based on experience, with Manulife co-pay health benefits offered after 3 months.

We prefer a very experienced groomer with admin skills, otherwise at least 1 year of full time experience with very strong skills styling all types of dogs. Handling large dogs isn’t an issue physically for you.

We know the right person will come along again! It can be a very lucrative for a motivated groomer.
