The essential boarding adventure for your dog!

If dogs could speak, what kind of boarding situation would they ask for? Probably one with lots of joyful outdoor romping in a beautiful forest, dog friends galore to hang out with, and endless affection and expert care from people who love them.

Since 2007 thousands of dogs from the Vancouver area have approved our facility as their go-to vacation destination for boarding.

Dogs love our Classic Boarding service which includes several off-leash supervised playtimes with other dogs throughout the day exploring the Dog Ranch’s magical forest, full-body health checks upon arrival (and every 4 days thereafter), and essential rest times in our clean, cozy, and well-ventilated rooms. Our Vancouver shuttle service options make it convenient to get to Bowen Island, just 20 minutes away from West Vancouver.

For additional activities, you can add onto your Classic Boarding reservation extra outdoor playtimes, swims at one of our local beaches, off-property nature walks, and frozen Kong’s. If you want both physical and mental extra’s daily, book our Enriched Boarding service. Or, consider adding a few sessions of training while boarding to build manners, confidence, and leash skills with our expert trainers.

Grooming service available! We have a 12-year experienced professional groomer Rae with us Thursday – Sundays, so take advantage of getting your dog groomed while they’re with us! Check out our grooming services here.

We are the un-kennel, a canine-centric community where dogs are treated like family, leashes are unnecessary, and “dog” is spoken fluently by our experienced handlers and trainers. Every day is an adventure!

To see what we’re all about, we welcome tours with you and your dog—by appointment, following the arrival of the 10:35 am ferry sailing from Horseshoe Bay. If you have time, make a morning or day of it on Bowen Island. There are beautiful hiking trails (easy to challenging), excellent cafés and restaurants, local galleries, unique shops, and great Airbnb options.
